When weather conditions allow, we offer all our passengers the opportunity to add thrills and/or try their hand at steering the glider at the end of their flight, at no additional cost.
For steering, your instructor will offer to give you the controls and explain how to safely make your first turns in the sky.
If you’re looking for an adrenaline rush, your instructor will perform aerobatics such a Wing Overs, spirals, and other daring maneuvers that will remind you of what it feels like to be in a roller coaster!

Le Sire
The Sire launch, in the Féclaz ski resort that overlooks the city of Chambéry, is an ideal place for a paragliding tandem flight in Savoie.
Located at an altitude of 1500 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the city of Chambéry, the Chartreuse mountain range, and Bourget Lake. Once in the air, you will fly over majestic cliffs plunging towards the lake. When strong winds do not allow us to fly from the launch sites closest to Chambéry, we go a little further south to the valley called the “Combe de Savoie”.
There are two launch sites in this area located halfway between Albertville and Chambéry. Their selection to host the Paragliding World Championships in 2023, bringing together the best pilots from around the globe, is no coincidence : these sites offer ideal flying conditions for your paragliding experience in Savoie.
Montlambert
Just 25 minutes from Chambéry and Albertville, this launch is ideal for morning flights: we can offer long flights there from 11 a.m. as it is facing east ! You will admire the “Combe de Savoie”., which stretches for about forty kilometers from Chambéry to Albertville. With the Bauges mountains to the north and the Belledonne range to the south, you will have exceptional views over a variety of peaks.
Where to meet us for a paragliding tandem flight in Montlambert?
You will meet us at the landing site located in Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte (“Des Iles” landing).
Be careful: Depending on where you are coming from, the GPS may bring you on a very narrow road that passes through vineyards!
We recommend entering this GPS point as your destination instead, and then turn onto the small road that heads southwest. You will share the road with cyclists for about 500 meters before crossing a small bridge. Then, you will keep going until you reach the paragliding landing site.

The Carouge recreational area will be a great place for you to cool down after your tandem flight. It’s a great picnic spot because it’s in a preserved natural setting, and many activities are possible directly on site. There is a beach area by the lake where you can swim and enjoy the sun. What to expect from a paragliding tandem flight in the Alps?
Our team always selects the best launch site for the day based on the weather conditions. This ensures you have a safe and enjoyable experience during your tandem flight. We will be able to give you an estimate of the flying location a few days in advance, but we will confirm the location of our meeting the day before your flight with a text message.
The day of your flight, our team will welcome you at the chosen landing area near Chambéry. From there, we will take a shuttle to the launch site, along with the other participants from the same time slot. Once we arrive, you will be able to take in the views before your certified instructor explains what to expect for take-off.
Once securely attached, your pilot will tell you to take a few steps forward to position the wing above the both of you. After that, a slight acceleration will be enough to allow for takeoff. You will soon find yourself suspended, sitting above the landscapes of Chambéry!
The duration of the flight depends on the type of flight chosen.
